Testimonials

“I originally started seeing Ellie because I was frustrated with my relationship. She helped me quickly recognize that I needed to work on my own personal insecurities before participating in couple counseling. She helped me understand my underlying feelings that led to my frustrations in my relationship. It was a good start before couple therapy. My boyfriend later joined us for couple counseling and she helped us identify how we come from different backgrounds which can lead to obstacles at times, but our life goals and commitment to each other were similar.”

“Ellie was my supervisor for two years while I was working towards my LCSW, and I still miss my sessions with her. Smart, authentic, clinically savvy, funny, supportive and trustworthy, Ellie is a skilled supervisor, as I'm sure she is a therapist.  I always looked forward to my sessions with Ellie, where I knew I would both learn and be challenged, while also feel seen, heard, and supported. I highly recommend working with Ellie!”

”We stopped going shortly before CoVid and we believe that the time we spent with Ellie has helped us to survive this very difficult time in life. While the world feels like it is falling apart around us, we support each other. I am not saying we do not have to overcome relationship struggles, we have many. However, Ellie has given us the tools to successfully overcome life’s hurdles.”

“I first came to know Ellie Boyarski back in 2008 when I was employed as what I described was a director for a new program in primary care that did not exist and that neither I nor my employers knew what it was! This was integrated behavioral health at an urban FQHC (federally qualified health center). I also was a brand new MSW and needed a clinical supervisor to work towards my licensure. Nothing short of a miracle put me in touch with Ellie- (a contact who knew someone who worked at Temple, and Ellie happened to be walking by her desk when my email arrived!).

Ellie is smart, loyal, innovative and research informed. Although the integrated model was also something new for her, she helped direct me in developing a viable program, helped sharpen my administrative gifts, as well as provided the clinical supervision I needed for licensure. She also was a safe sounding board when I needed to discuss red tape, interdepartmental processes, and other leadership challenges.

After I obtained my LCSW, and had other young MSW’s and LSWs on staff, she was my go-to for providing clinical supervision for my staff. She has remained a friend, resource and inspiration for me over the years. I highly recommend her for trainings, supervision, consultant and friend.”

“Ellie Boyarski has had a huge impact on my professional development while meeting with her for Clinical Supervision. She exemplifies that social work is not about arriving but always evolving, growing and learning as a practitioner and personally. Through her authenticity, I learned that I can be myself while integrating evidence-based treatment modalities. Ellie has an infectious laugh and zest for people to grow which adds buoyancy to both personal development and work with clients. She has availed herself to me through the years and I’m grateful for her example and encouragement!”

“I was on the board of Cadekids for 19 years and also served as Vice President. Working on Ellie's team when she served as the Executive Director, was a complete joy. Ellie brought enthusiasm, leadership and an atmosphere which kept everyone moving forward with our mission. In addition, Ellie was looked up to by the many Cadekids that knew her, she helped change their lives for the better.”
